Pre-configured hardware RAID solutions feature two paired lightning fast SATA 1.5/3.0Gb/s drives with up to 4.0TB each of storage capacity and a high speed Custom Oxford 946DSE/3100 Integrated Chipset featuring FireWire 800/400, USB 3.0/2.0, and eSATA ports to deliver some of the fastest single...up to 500MB per second! Enclosure only kits also available for "add your own hard drive" flexibility and economy. With its multiple interface connections, Guardian MAXimus makes adding vault-like mirrored data storage performance to Macintosh and Windows computers Plug and Play easy.

MAXimum Real Time Redundancy

Real performance can also be measured by intangibles like having peace of mind knowing your critical data is always safe! Should you experience a hard drive failure, the ever vigilant Guardian MAXimus automatically and seamlessly continues data read/write functions with the remaining drive. And with the convenient front panel drive status LEDs, you'll know at a glance which drive is being accessed and if you need to take any action.

With its shock resistant design, diminutive 5.8 pound weight (bare case is 2.6 lbs.), and 9.3″ x 2.8″ x 5.6″ (237mm x 72mm x 142mm) dimensions, Guardian MAXimus is ready to go to wherever you need a storage sentinel on duty.
